We will contact you to organise a suitable delivery day for your order. Someone will need to be there to accept and unload the delivery. Please note that the drivers will not unload the delivery. Unloading is the responsibility of the customer. You will need to have suitable man power or forklift to be able to unload. You must be able to unload your delivery within 20 minuets of the lorry arriving.

  1. Most vehicles are 18 tonne trucks as standard, which are a similar size to a refuse truck, so please check that the road leading to the delivery address has access for this size of truck. Also, check for low hanging trees, low bridges, approaching events – music festivals, carnivals, fetes, contractual projects such as road closures for gas, water, communication cable work etc.
  2. If the home address can only accept smaller vehicles, then you must inform Gripdeck via email and check to see if the delivery depot can accommodate. Some of the smaller vehicles are subject to availability and may incur a surcharge.
  3. If it’s a named house, please provide for points of interest for the driver to look out for in the order comments
  4. Our standard delivery window is between 9am and 5pm Monday-Friday. Please make sure there is someone there to accept the goods during that time.
  5. All deliveries are kerbside only. As our timber decking is too long to pallet truck off the lorry you will need to have equipment or labour to off load by hand.
  6. The driver is not obliged to handball the goods off the vehicle. It is the recipents responsibility to ensure there are appropriate offloading facilities. Most depots are not covered by insurance to have members of the public on the back of their lorries to assist handball.
  7. Drivers are given 20 minutes to complete each delivery. Any unloading need to be sorted out within this time frame, otherwise they may have to move on without delivering. You will then subject a redelivery charge.

Please Contact us before ordering if any of the above is going to be an issue and we may be able to look at alternative delivery methods. Hi-Ab and Dedicated deliveries can be arranged at an extra cost.

Currently we can not deliver to the following areas via the online shop: Highlands and Islands, Offshore, Northern Ireland, Guernsey and Jersey
